Learning Resource Centre

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) at Shoalhaven Anglican School caters for students and staff from K-12. A wide range of resources is provided in a variety of formats including print, digital, audio-visual and electronic. These include curriculum based resources, literature and recreational material to enrich and support the learning and teaching programmes of the school.

Electronic resources include online encyclopedias, full-text magazine database and online reference books. These resources are available for student use at school and from home via their school login. (see School Resources link below)

The LRC is committed to providing an extensive relevant fiction collection and to support the reading programme across all levels of the school.

Computer facilities are available for research in the LRC and an extensive digital video library is available across the whole school network.

A senior study area with computer facilities is available for senior students for research and private study.

Author and illustrator visits are part of the programme to engender enthusiasm and interest for our students. Book sharing sessions between senior and junior students promotes reading and co-operation with students from K-12.
