The Parents and Friends meet on a regular basis to discuss ways to support the school. They do this through fundraising and providing activities for students and families to engage in the life of the school. Each meeting is advertised through the newsletter and via email. If you wish for you name to be added to the email list please contact the office.
Dear Parents and Friends,
The new SAS P&F committee is off and running in what is shaping up to be another action filled year at our children's beautiful school. The mothers day stall held over the past two days was almost sold out and we were overwhelmed by parent and friend helpers keen to peddle amazing gifts to very excited kids who are keen to spoil mum on Sunday. A big thank you to all our helpers and a special thank you to those creative people who made items and donated gifts. You are all bloomin amazing.
I would like to welcome our new P&F secretary, Theresa Hill to the committee. This is a very busy job and I think we are truly blessed to have Theresa volunteer her time to support the school. Welcome Theresa.
A big welcome to all the new families to SAS! I really encourage you to come along and get involved with the P&F. It's a great way to support your children, to meet other parents and to stay informed about our School. Everyone is always very welcome to come along to meetings or get involved in some of our fun P&F activities.
One of the main focuses of the P&F this year is to continue to build and strengthen the school community through connecting SAS families and friends. To kick this off, our first P&F meeting will be more of an informal school community get together where we can relax and share a meal together, allowing people to get to know each other and maybe even brainstorm a few ideas for future P&F activities. This will be a great opportunity to meet other parents and friends at the school. Better still, Mr Mansour and his family have kindly offered to host the dinner at his new house at Narrawallee! It should be a really fun night and we would love to see you there. Please see the invitation below.
Happy mothers days mums!
Kind regards
Matt Potter
